I had my final interview with LBS for the full time MBA starting in London at the end of August. The interviewer told me he had rarely come across a more compelling application for the MBA. He explained that I have a clear picture of where I've come from and where I want to go. He also said that I seemed to have everything well aligned, my goals, my career, my personal life, etc. etc. I thought to myself - Bibi did her job well.

I initially sought Bibi out to help me develop an authentic leadership profile which both accurately reflected my skills and experience, and was true to my values. I had been surprised at how difficult I found it, and with Bibi’s support came to realise that it was much less about the profile itself, and much more about how I saw and defined myself. Bibi’s empathy, commerciality and clear commitment to my goals (which changed as our sessions progressed!) saw me through a career decision, significant step up in role and international relocation.

At time when I was unsure of my career path and lacked focus on my goals, both personally and professionally, Bibi refocussed me on my key drivers, what was important to me and how I could achieve what I wanted to achieve. Bibi was later my personal (assigned) coach as part of a professional development course preparing me for a leadership role.

I think Bibi has a natural talent for coaching. Her manner is professional, trustworthy and firm and she has a gift at building rapport (even with a complete stranger) very quickly and can seamlessly place people at ease. I particularly like her delivery, even with challenging and probing questions, she presents in a friendly and disarming way - an ideal mix I'd expect from a coach!

I was initially skeptical about the value that a coach could provide, since I thought I had life all figured out. [Coaching] proves me wrong in every session! I can now look back over the last year and proudly say that I am now a happier and more contented person. Bibi has helped me to identify what's really important to me in all areas of my life and she has helped me to create a detailed life plan which aligns with my goals and objectives for me and my family. Armed with this, it has been so much easier to take action, overcome challenges and take life's difficult decisions. How can you place a value on that?”

Because of Bibi’s coaching, I hear my own leadership voice much more clearly, and am now starting to bring the same commitment that I have to my work to other areas of my life.
